EasyHeat® SR Trace™ cable prevents costly damage to roofs caused by ice formation and snow accumulation in gutters, downspouts, and roof valleys. The self-regulating heating cable automatically varies its heat output as the surrounding temperature changes. They are suitable for use on asphalt or wood shingles, metal roofing or membrane type roofing and downspouts that freeze and clog.
- Power densities of 3, 5, and 8 W per 1 ft at 50 deg F
- Cut-to-order lengths or in convenient 250 ft self dispensing reel boxes
- All cable outer jackets are constructed of waterproof polyolefin material
- Can be installed in dry or wet environments
- Can be wrapped over itself (overlapped) minimizing the risk of damaging temperature-sensitive roof coating
- Commercial metal or plastic water supply and drain pipes subject to freezing
- Liquids piped during processing that require constant temperatures
- Freeze protection for main and branch sprinkler systems, maintain liquids in pipes at constant temperature to prevent degradation of liquid and maintain viscosity for flow conditions
- For refrigeration/HVAC condensation lines that are subject to freezing temperatures
